Sister Namibia is a feminist organization based in Windhoek, Namibia that works towards a society in which all people have equal rights and opportunities. Our content promotes collective action by giving a loudspeaker to real people, by representing aspirational Afrofuturism and inclusive beauty, and by providing a safe refuge for collective delight. We answer the call for more responsible, activist driven media that leads bravely, and lobbies fearlessly, but over and above all else, is there to listen.
Borne of the social justice movement, the Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa (SIHA) Network is an indigenous African women’s rights organisation with a soul. Today we continue to work as an inclusive and diverse feminist women’s rights network that holds a unique position working as a regional civil society organisation in politically volatile contexts. SIHA works in a variety of cultural, political, and geographical environments in Uganda, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Somalia, Somaliland, Sudan and South Sudan.
Support the Empowerment of Women and their Rights for Development (STEWARD Women)’s mission is to develop, shape and empower South Sudanese women to advocate for policies that foster equal economic opportunity and secure human rights for women and children. We work under five thematic program areas, namely: access to justice and the rule of law, psychosocial support, community security, women economic empowerment and sexual and reproductive health.
