FDHRD was founded in Egypt in 2005 with the dedication to promote human rights, raise citizen’s awareness on their rights and responsibilities, and combat human trafficking and illegal immigration on a local and global level.
Kadirat a été créée en 2004 par un groupe de militantes tunisiennes qui ont une longue expérience de l’activisme de la société civile, qui ont dirigé d’autres OSC et qui sont membres de différents réseaux nationaux, régionaux et internationaux. Kadirat se concentre sur les droits des femmes, tels que la participation politique, l’autonomisation économique, la lutte contre la violence envers les femmes et les enfants et le plaidoyer pour une réforme de la loi sur l’égalité des sexes et la violence envers les femmes.
Kadirat was formed in 2004 by a group of Tunisian women activists who have a long experience in civil society activism, who headed other CSO’s and who are members of different national, regional and international networks. Kadirat focuses on women’s rights such as political participation, economic empowerment, ending GBV/VAWG and advocating for law reform on gender equality and VAWG.

Les domaines économique, social, culturel et juridique sont autant de champs d’action que Jossour FFM a pu explorer au cours des 20 dernières années. En effet, nous œuvrons perpétuellement pour la visibilité de nos concitoyennes et notamment aux postes de décision.
Jossour FFM’s goal is to strengthen the presence of Moroccan women on the national scene at all levels. The economic, social, cultural and legal fields are all fields of action that Jossour FFM has been able to explore over the past 20 years. Indeed, we perpetually work for the visibility of our fellow citizens and particularly in decision-making positions.
Borne of the social justice movement, the Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa (SIHA) Network is an indigenous African women’s rights organisation with a soul. Today we continue to work as an inclusive and diverse feminist women’s rights network that holds a unique position working as a regional civil society organisation in politically volatile contexts. SIHA works in a variety of cultural, political, and geographical environments in Uganda, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Somalia, Somaliland, Sudan and South Sudan.
Following the SOAWR Coalition’s ratification and advocacy mission on the 25th of June 2025, the Government of the Central African Republic (CAR) deposited the instrument of ratification for the Maputo Protocol on the 29th of July 2025, making CAR the 46th African Union member state to do so.
