SOAWR participates in The Africa Unite Campaign

On the 5th March 2012, 75 men, women and youth commenced a three day trek to the top of Africa’s highest mountain – Mt. Kilimanjaro, standing at 19,341-ft above sea level.

Evaluation of the Solemn Declaration on Gender Equality

Report findings from 18 African countries out of the 53, indicate that only 34 per cent of the member states have honoured the commitment of subsequent reporting on progress made in implementing the Solemn Declaration on Gender Equality in Africa (SDGEA) as required under article12.
